Improve Your Fashion Style Sense

No matter what age or shape you are, a few small steps can change your whole perspective on how you look and how you feel.

*
Follow these 6 Simple Tips for a NEW YOU:

*

1. Being stylish has nothing to do with your size —

It is about making the most of your shape. Choose clothing that embraces your best features while camouflaging your figure challenges.

*

2. Fashion style is all about attitude–

Feeling confident in yourself and the way you look will come across to other people.

*

3. Clean out your closet–

Get rid of those items which are outdated, do not fit you well or simply do not make you feel good.

*

4. Ensure that your wardrobe is built around some staples which will take you from season to season and can be dressed up or down–

A quality coat, a little black dress, a classic pair of black pants, a fitted jacket, dark wash jeans correctly cut for your body type and various flattering tops in colors that make you sparkle.

*

5. Ignore the size on the label–

No matter how beautiful an item of clothing is, if it doesn’t fit properly, it won’t look good.  Knowing your size doesn’t help here, because sizing is notoriously inconsistent. In one store, you’re a Size 8, in another a Size 10, and in another a Size 12 — all without gaining an ounce. When you find a clothing item you’d like to try on, take a few different sizes into the changing room and buy the one that fits the best.  No one will know or care what the number is on the inside.

*

6. The next time you feel inclined to throw on a baggy T-shirt and pants–

remember – anything that makes you feel frumpy and dumpy does nothing for your sense of self.
