Fashion Tip of the Month

*
Every year it happens, bathing suit weather arrives and with it decisions must be made – here are some swimsuit tips to help you.

*

8 Swimsuit Style Tips:

1.  Wear Swimwear in a Color that Flatters your Skin Tone – choose brilliant blues (electric blue, cobalt blue, teal, navy) and deeper, darker pinks (magenta, fuchsia, coral) they are almost always flattering.  Both black and white can look sickly against pale skin, but often are great colors once you have a bit of a tan.
*
2.  Choose Good Swimwear Fabric – anything shiny will show fatty bulges, while a good camouflaging print (floral, swirl, leopard) will hide many flaws.  Strategic side gathering or ruching can visually whittle your middle.
*
3.  Swimwear Necklines – Sweetheart and Deep V-neck: great for drawing the eye upwards, away from problem areas
Halter: will draw the eye up to the face, fabric must cover outside of breasts
Scoop or Square: gives the illusion of wider shoulders which can balance pear shapes
*
4. Larger Bustwide, supportive straps and a built-in underwire bra to provide uplift.
*
5. Small Bust – layered shirring, molded bra cups and a sweetheart neckline are cleavage creators.
*
6. Full Middle – get a lean look by wearing clever, corset-like constructed suit with an inside tummy control panel or side gathering one-piece bathing suit.
*
7. Ample Thighs – swap the skirted style (the hem hits at and seems to broaden your widest part) for a high-cut leg opening to elongate legs, choose a v-neckline to divert the eye from your lower half and try suits with a solid colored bottom and patterned top.
*
8. Stylish Coverups – styles can take the shape of smooth tunics, short smocked sundresses or colorful maxi dresses.
*
I hope these tips will help you in your quest to buy that swimsuit that works best for you.
